Conceptual Site Plan

Please note the following features:

The historic building will remain in its current location and its exterior will be restored to its original design.  Numerous additions and outbuildings have been removed from the property.

Around the perimeter of the lot, an “L” shaped building will be built.  While it will be a single physical structure, it will look like 6 bungalows with a design very similar to the main lodge building.

The second building will be two storied, and will house 11 guest rooms.

The new building will be connected to the lodge with an open loggia and an outdoor dining area will be added.

A circular driveway will be created off of Adella Avenue to provide for temporary parking for guest check-in.

On the “A” Avenue side of the property, a new “pocket park” will be created, replacing a large expanse of pavement with a landscaped area.  The street will be a uniform width from 10th Street to Ynez.

Three new public parking spaces will be created as a result of narrowing the street.

Parking for guests and staff will be underground.  Note the driveway at the top of the drawing.  This is the beginning of the ramp that leads to subterranean parking.

Below the map of the property are two “elevations”.  The one on very bottom is the view from Adella/Ynez.  It shows the historic lodge on the left and the smaller building is the new front bungalow.

The other elevation is the view our guests will see when seated in the courtyard, looking out towards “A” Avenue.
