Local Event: Support Our Troops Overseas!
Posted by: raindrop 5 years, 2 months ago
Come out to Tidelands Park in Coronado on Saturday October 27th, to help raise money for our troops overseas!
Coronado local, Missy Lopez, will be hosting a yoga class in the park from 10:30 to noon. Feel free to join the fun, or just drop by with some donations! Think old DVDs, magazines, books, or any other sort of entertainment they might enjoy. Other items to be included in the care package are Starbucks VIA, veggie powder, dehydrated fruits, beef jerky, sunflower seeds, and other items along those lines. Pictures will be taken at the event so Missy can make a scrapbook to send with the packages, so the troops can see how loved and supported they are!!
Make sure to wear your festive red, white, and blue colors...there will be a costume contest for the most patriotic costume!
