San Diego Property Tax Bills May Soon Increase

Did you apply for a property tax appeal? Your property tax appeal is good for one year. As the market improves, the county assessor's office is scheduled to review property values.
It's important to remember that Prop 13 restricts property assessment increases to 2% per year, based on the assessed value, not the adjusted assessed value if you applied for and received an appeal.
