July 2021 Bucket List - 4th of July Edition

Coronado is world famous for its 4th of July celebration and we have a lot of making up to do after the official festivities were cancelled last year due to the pandemic.  And with the 4th falling on a Sunday this year, that means we get to celebrate all weekend long.  If you follow our 4th of July Bucket List, you won't miss a thing:

July 3: 

5:00 am - Stake out your spot for the parade along Orange Ave.  Be prepared with your chairs, blanket, and a coffee to reserve your favorite spot around the route.  Or better yet, bring a friend and some corn hole to get the party started.

7:00 am - Crown City Classic: Support the Islander Sports Foundation in the annual by running the 5K or 12K.  Registration opens at 5:30 am and races start at 7:00 am.

10:00 am - Soak up every minute of the world famous Coronado 4th of July Parade.  Featuring horses, marching bands, cheerleaders, local dignitaries, and countless exceptional organizations, you will surely enjoy every minute of the event.

6:30 pm - Meet at Star Park and Circumnavigate the island.  Decorate your bike and bring your friends, this is a *can't miss* event of the weekend.

8:00 pm - Park your bikes and head to the golf course for the annual All Class Reunion.

July 4:

Recover from the marathon yesterday (literally and figuratively) with a dip in the ocean followed by a coffee from Claytons.

2:00 pm: Head to Glorietta Bay and watch the Navy Parachute Team "Leap Frogs" Demonstration

Celebrate like a local and enjoy a BBQ in your best friends' backyard.

9:00 pm - Round out the weekend with fireworks over Glorietta Bay.
